I’ve heard those reports too, but I also have heard that while it makes it lighter and smaller there is still a huge gap between the weight of the 12.9 and the 11. I do think it would be nice try check them both out in person. The lack of portability over time with my 12.9 definitely makes me a bit hesitant about the 12.9 again. Haha
