Hey, just checking in to see if you've had a chance to think about these options at all. I feel like 2 is the most elegant, however for mass-adoption, I think 6 (the combination of 4 and 5) is probably the most wide-reaching option.

I don't think it's a huge stretch to have someone who wants to host their own replies to update to JSON Feed or h-feed.
