There is a report that Apple is revamping the iBooks app it seems interesting, but I think there is a key downfall for me. As a pretty frequently reader (over 100 books in the last couple of years), I find a single device designed around the convenience and focus of reading is the key. Of course I want access to my books in my phone, tablet and computer. But the key to my reading is a black and white screened computer, the Kindle. Until iBooks and Kindle can interoperate or Apple comes out with it’s own reading focused device, all my books will stay inside the Kindle now matter how nice Apple makes iBooks.
